Ung Nordisk Musik 2021

The composition Enclose for cello, two sopranos and paper, is selected for Ung Nordisk Music (UNM) festival in Aarhus 2021. The piece will be performed live during the festival, more information will come.
Mai Ane Pil also participated in the festival in 2017 in Iceland with the composition PAPER M A C H E.

H. C. Andersen Festival 2021

The whole album of Pieces For Paper will be performed as a part of H.C.Andersen Festival in Odense the 23. and 24. august at Brandt.
After the performance, the book will be available for purchase.

Aarhus Walks On Water

In 2017 Mai Ane Pil was the composer for the event AWOW - under the capital of culture in Aarhus. The mezzo-soprano singer Hanna Leonora Hollesen performed the four songs for the show. Mai Ane Pil received a grant from The Danish Art Foundation for the compositions and soundscapes.

Intern at Atelier Hotel Pro Forma in 2017, creating several events with the creative team of eight interns from the fields of architecture, sound design and arts management. Working on a series of lounge events and for upcoming projects.

Sæbekoncert

The soap-concerts was in an investigation in sounds from different brands of soap. The foam was recorded with hydrophones and performed with a video responsive with sound.

Kvindebandet

From 2012 to 2017 the alternative orchestra Kvindebandet existed. The band released two albums and one single and performed various concerts at SPOT festival, Huset i Kbh, PB43 Præsentere, Radar.
